Internal Communications

Gold: Lúmina: When the Lights Come On by Camino

Every pharma company now wants its people to use AI – but how many are changing what actually gets done?

Lúmina closes that gap: no more messaging about AI, instead holding the conversation inside people’s real day jobs. One team built a working congress – analysis pipeline live in the room! One attendee called it “absolutely spot on.”

Across 24 workshops and 384 people at twelve other companies, confidence rose from 2.84 to 3.96 and our NPS hit 78. Six months on, people were still applying what they built, and one in four said they no longer felt behind with AI.

Judges’ comments

Lúmina was a very impressive internal training programme for pharma partners, built on a great insight – that people learn about AI by using it. Having people design their own AI minimum viable product (MVP) for their individual task-level use was a very clever approach. Then further tailoring the training to adapt to people’s roles and needs, as well as the organisation’s needs, was even more brilliant.

To seal their Gold, the team gave a polished presentation, demonstrating strong impact scores and great feedback from the sample, that really struck the judges. It was impressive to have such practical training on something that needs a very practical approach, and also to demystify AI with great success. Using the parsing of congress intelligence and data as a test project was a superbly functional idea, to allow a client to see what was possible with AI, as well as giving them a working pipeline by the end, whereby that client is now extracting insights from congress at scale. Camino identified an underlying problem the client hadn’t yet recognised, and delivered a solution with clarity and precision, allowing the client to reach genuine innovation themselves – a masterstroke!

Finalist: Making Human Connections by Salt

We’ve always wanted Salt to be a force for good. But running a successful agency is hard – growth often brings mission drift and fixation on the bottom line. So, we wanted to take steps to ensure our purpose didn’t get diluted.

We worked with our team to explore what makes Salt people tick. This led to “Making Human Connections” – the underlying motivation for everything we do – and five clear objectives to embed our purpose into the fabric of the business. Bringing these objectives to life together reaffirmed the agency culture and purpose, making sure it stays at the core.
