Congress, Meetings & Events
Cardiovascular disease is the world’s biggest killer. Yet, a significant culprit, cardiovascular inflammation, has remained overlooked in routine risk management despite 160 years of evidence against it.
Rather than challenging guideline-tethered cardiologists, we invited their analytical minds to “Follow the Evidence” at ESC 2025. We transformed clinical data into an immersive forensic hunt, anchored by a two-metre, hand-crafted “Red Thread Heart” that visually connected the scientific clues.
The impact was undeniable: Novo Nordisk surged to #2 in overall SoV, and 90% of surveyed cardiologists were motivated to change the trajectory of care and target this unaddressed risk.
Judges’ comments
“Follow the Evidence” was an outstandingly creative and insight-led campaign, well put together and bringing a fresh, highly engaging approach to cardiology congress communications that was well received by HCPs and local teams. The forensic concept delivered cut-through and strong share-of-voice results, with a beautifully executed experience. The effect on perception is clear and, bearing in mind there hasn’t yet been a full year yet to assess the final objective, this high-impact creative idea has elevated Novo Nordisk as a newcomer in the field of cardiovascular disease, and brought CV inflammation further to the forefront of clinicians’ minds.
It was great for the judges to see the impact in socials beyond the conference – with the Red Thread Heart sculpture going viral as a landmark of ESC – saying this was fantastic, proving that a really compelling and bold idea had been very well executed. Judges also noted how the team had clear intentions and goals, which they managed to achieve by way of this well-thought-out programme; they measured the right metrics and were able to link these metrics to tactics they delivered. To summarise, this was a great entry, great work, good objectives, nicely executed with great results. Amazing creative with superb implementation. Well done!
Patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) are unseen, unheard, and undiagnosed – trapped in cycles of ineffective therapies. A bold new approach to break the inertia in psychiatrists’ beliefs and behaviours, showing that timely action can bring colour back into patients’ lives.
The powerful congress booth experience used digital sculpting and 3D printing to create hundreds of patient models – showing the scale of suffering among those left behind. At the heart of the booth stood an interactive plinth, where delegates could place models to reveal evocative patient journeys, contrasting the despair of misdiagnosis with the freedom that can result from early, appropriate intervention.
triggers omnichannel follow-up in real time, while the congress is still running.
The result: a complete shift from retrospective reporting to live engagement infrastructure.
and leave with follow-up already in motion.
That’s a complete redefinition of how congresses create value.
“FIGHT FOR YOUR PATIENTS WITH MIGRAINE: an Expert Debate Challenging the Standard of Care in Acute and Prevention” transformed a traditional congress symposium into a high-energy, boxing-themed interactive session at EHC25, Lisbon.
Challenging old habits in migraine care, three globally recognised speakers debated before an audience of ~1,500, with real-time voting driving genuine clinical reflection. Supported by an omnichannel campaign – from pre-event save-the-dates to a post-event infographic – the symposium became the largest satellite event at EHC25, achieving a commitment from 87% of clinicians to consider gepants in practice, and a 22% swing towards the need for integrated systems of care.
Boehringer Ingelheim has ambitious plans for its early-phase oncology trials, with success depending on-site connection to, and ownership of, the programme. Investigator meetings are often treated as compliance obligations, so we asked: how do we transform obligation into opportunity?
The InnOVation Forum brought together sponsor and sites. Through peer exchange, practical problem-solving, and a memorable origami exercise, participants built peer connections whilst generating actionable insights to support effective trial delivery.
Engagement with the programme increased by 144%, while motivation increased by 241%. Together, strong foundations were laid to launch the programme, setting it up for long-term success.
Research conducted by Chiesi and Metabolic Support highlighted that 80% of people living with rare diseases felt that they were not being authentically represented in healthcare communications and wanted to see images of people like themselves in materials rather than stock imagery.
The True Faces of Rare multi-stakeholder meeting was held in Westminster on 17 July 2025, to drive change in how rare diseases are visually represented and to secure commitment from organisations to adopt authentic imagery.
The gravity of the event was reflected in the recognition and engagement of the World Health Organisation, Patient Information Forum and ABPI.
The aRCC Masterclass was an insight-led CPD-accredited education programme designed to support clinicians navigating complex real-world treatment decisions in advanced renal cell carcinoma. Developed with international expert faculty and delegate input, it blended case-based learning, live voting, peer exchange and highly interactive workshops, including game-based clinical decision-making.
The programme brought together more than 200 HCPs from 27 countries and achieved a Net Promoter Score of 84, with 96% reporting improved knowledge and 92% confirming relevance to clinical practice. Through the Masterclass360 programme, modular local adaptations and personalised educational journeys extended impact beyond the live event.
