Course description:

This course considers how pharmaceutical companies can be effective in digital and social media within the boundaries of UK law and the ABPI Code of Practice. It considers promotional activity and non-promotional activity, mainly using questions collected from attendees but also with reference to examples of best practice and past Code of Practice cases

Target audience

Anyone involved at any level in the development or delivery of digital or social media activities who has specific questions they would like answered

Course agenda

The agenda is mainly determined by the attendees and their questions with a final version circulated to attendees beforehand but what is always covered includes: Understanding promotion / common errors in digital and social media use / key past Code cases

Learning outcomes

An understanding of how to achieve goals in digital and social media whilst avoiding common errors / answers to their own compliance questions

 

About the trainer

Nick Broughton is a physician who has worked previously in large pharma as a director in UK and European Medical and Regulatory Affairs. He has over 20 years of experience reviewing and approving promotional and other material. He has a special interest in pharmaceutical ethics and how to incorporate that within compliance education to make it meaningful and memorable
