As part of the PM Society’s Marketing Excellence industry group, this one of the 3 key workstreams, focused on advancing standards including Marketing Mentoring and PM Talks, where we talk to marketing leaders from outside the industry to share best practice and continually learn about the drivers of change and creating an innovation culture.
The format of the fully funded PM Society & CIM Marketing Leaders Programme development training is over 3 days across 10th October and 16th and 17th October, at the CIM HQ in Cookham, Maidenhead.
The days will be split, with day 1 being “Developing your personal brand” and the following week being 2 days on “Strategic Marketing Leadership”. The course is designed to help senior marketers to position themselves for innovating and leading change in their roles and for example:
- understanding, self, team, stakeholders and context
- your leadership brand strategy
- how to future proof the strategy and look ahead,
- deal with risk and ambiguity,
- make decisions under pressure and at pace
- take a strategic approach to organisational culture
- the first 100 days in a senior role
- and much more
Delivered by CIM training professionals Reuben Milne and David Radford, both with significant senior marketing backgrounds, these will be highly interactive and practical workshop-based training days, with individual and group breakout sessions and tasks.
Integral to the course will be the selection of three exceptional candidates who meet the criteria, will be chosen to be awarded the prestigious CIM Fellowships, which will be presented by Chris Daly, Chief Executive of CIM on stage at the PM Society’s flagship event, the 2026 PM Awards in March
