Stephen Page

Stephen Page

Co-Founder, Brand and strategy - Page and Page

Stephen Page started out as a designer over 30 years ago, and has since helped found and build three agencies (including what is now regarded as the world’s largest healthcare agency) and incorporated brand, communication strategy and innovation for some of the best known brands in the world. To pick but a few, he can tell you how the team helped develop McDonalds’ identity, how they asserted Shell’s values, what it was like to work on Eurostar or Virgin Airways at the beginning, why BUPA is a positive health business, what it takes to launch or globally position a wound care, diabetes, asthma, vaccine or nutrition brand for any one of the major pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device players. Today, and is still energised as P&P enters the top 25 PMLiVE agencies, as a co-Chair for the PM Society and a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers. Stephen isn’t done yet. He is focused on enabling any organisation working in the healthcare space to maximise the power of their communications, the development of what is (probably) the most talented young team in the healthcare space and ensuring that the healthcare gap is closed so that as many people as possible can benefit from living their healthiest possible lives.

Why should you join?

  • The group invites those at a senior level within agencies and those from pharma who are involved in the procurement of agency services or who work with agencies to come together to share experiences, identify & highlight challenges and solutions, share & celebrate best practice and ultimately improve standards in how clients and agencies work together.
  • You will benefit from a safe, collaborative space to share your views, and discuss how to make things better for all parties. There is no agenda, and we welcome contributions from all sides of any debate. We want agency leaders to feel the benefit of talking to those in pharma who are not their clients, as well as networking with other agency leaders they may never have the opportunity to meet outside of a competitive pitch. For those in pharma we want them to be able to share experiences with peers in other pharma companies. And for everyone to hear perspectives from those in roles they work with but don’t necessarily understand.
  • You will come away from a meeting having heard views, shared opinions, suggested ideas and generally feeling like you understand a little better the industry you work in and the pressures of the moment.
  • The group works towards an annual plan of activities and all members are invited to help achieve the shared goals.
