Our client was catapulted into the spotlight following astronomical global demand for their medicines. They needed to prepare their spokespeople to communicate effectively and confidently with all stakeholders: from the media to HCPs to internal colleagues.

At pace and scale, we delivered a digital communication coaching programme, upskilling over 600 leaders in 6 months, across 70 markets, in 9 languages. From self-accessed interactive modules, to Calendly app-scheduled virtual 1:1 sessions, to a livestream event, we ensured we could meet leaders where they were, to maximise the impact of the coaching.

As a coaching initiative that was developed for multiple delivery formats and used to upskill spokespeople around the world at a scale and speed never before seen, this was an impressively methodical and yet flexible campaign. Silver: Novartis i4i Training Experience for Novartis by Radical Departures

Novartis developed the “i4i Insights Discovery Process”, a sprint-based methodology and framework for enabling patient insights generation and integration along the medicine lifecycle. We created a deep parallax scrolling digital learning experience for all Novartis associates to reflect i4i’s four key words: Imagine, Immerse, Integrate, Inspire.

To date, there have been 260 registrations with an average user rating of 4.7/5 and brilliant feedback, including “I enjoyed navigating all 3 modules and never felt bored” and “Great e-learning. It’s very creative and inspired!!” Since launch, there have been 37 i4i sprints involving a total of ~370 Novartis employees around the world.

Bronze: Power Up for Takeda by OPEN X Health

Uptake of Takeda’s internal training was slow amongst the Neuroscience Sales Force. So, to reinvigorate engagement, Power Up! was developed.

This video game-inspired campaign delivered training through playful storytelling. With a live launch at Takeda’s National Sales Meeting (NSM), and a suite of complementary digital materials, Power Up! was memorable, meme-able, and moved the needle.

Attendees found the NSM workshops engaging—and the behaviours they picked up have converted to outstanding results in the field. Thanks to Power Up! the team’s performance has reached the next level, and Season 2 is already in the works to keep that momentum going.

Finalist: Empowering Teams and Optimising Digital Customer Experiences With Astellas Elements for Astellas by Graphite Digital

When launching a new digital solution, internal rollout is key for long-term success.

After partnering with Astellas to create a new global design system, we developed a strategic launch campaign to ensure stakeholder adoption. This included internal email campaigns, a promotional video, and multiple calls with teams to educate and reassure. We also provided comprehensive documentation and a suite of training videos for brand teams and their agencies, equipping them with the confidence to succeed.

Our approach ensured that teams across markets understood the purpose of the new digital framework, and how it would empower them to achieve their objectives.
