Gold: EVA (Expert VOD Assistant) for Jazz Pharmaceuticals by Camino Communications

With field force redeployment, Jazz Pharmaceuticals needed to sustain dialogue around a complex rare disease. In this specialist area, meaningful and nuanced face-to-face conversations at congress are critical.

EVA met the challenge head-on, reinventing Jazz’s congress booth by repurposing weighty medical slide decks into a charismatic AI avatar that chats naturally on a ghost screen and feeds back to Jazz on HCPs’ questions. Her educational value was met with delight, with HCPs reporting they’d “never seen anything like it before.”

EVA contributed to both insight and product lead generation for Jazz, enabling extensive follow-up after the congress.

Judge’s Comments

EVA is a really smart and forward-thinking use of AI to drive specialist education in a rare disease area. This expert VOD assistant felt fresh, useful, and technically powerful—especially given the compliance hurdles.  Strong engagement, great feedback, and the actual clinical questions captured make this more than a gimmick. It solved a real challenge creatively and could have legs beyond the congress.

Judges were impressed by its human-like presence along with the content generation, especially the intelligent medical query handling and approval process behind it. What’s more, there was a clear impact on personalised education and clinical practice with measured behaviour change, as well as an internal impact on the client. With all this, EVA looks to be an revolutionary AI-driven assistant, surpassing all engagement and educational objectives for congress interactions.

The judges’ verdict? Innovative. Clever. Hands on. Pragmatic. And a great platform for future success.

Silver: The Vitiligo Mirror for Incyte Biosciences by Flipside Health and Corbin Comms

Incyte wanted to create a ground-breaking event technology that helps dermatologists understand the significant impact of vitiligo and shows them the positive effect that a new treatment could have on patients’ lives.

After consulting with expert dermatologists, analysing data, developing unique AI models & coding cutting-edge dynamic technologies, Incyte released the AR Vitiligo Mirror… It simulates hyper-realistic, medically accurate non-segmental vitiligo, and shows the effects of the treatment upon whoever stands before it.

“The Vitiligo Mirror” has featured at dermatology events around the world to help change perceptions on the impact of vitiligo and inspire clinicians to prioritise their vitiligo patients.

Bronze: Migraine Dialogues Summit: Uniting Experts to Redefine Care for Pfizer by Langland

The Migraine Dialogues Summit was a dynamic standalone designed to catalyse change in migraine care by redefining treatment goals and enabling confident prescribing in a new era of therapy.

Supported by a wider programme of webinars and interactive roundtables, the 1.5-day face-to-face event enabled an international network of Change Leaders to engage peers worldwide to determine best practice in treatment optimisation. Digital tools supported high-value engagement before, during and after the summit, amplifying reach and enabling rich educational exchange. It successfully bridged expert insight and real-world practice, with 95% reporting that it would positively impact their clinical practice.

Bronze: Untangling the Complexity of COPD for Roche by Atomic Matter

The theme of this congress booth was “Untangling the Complexity of COPD”, which inspired CGI animations of tangled woollen lungs and a coughing man. The wool aesthetic extended to the structure of the booth, with physical threads throughout. Tactics included a 360-degree pillar connected to an iPad, an app navigated by pulling threads, an MOD video set inside woollen lungs, and timelapse videos of portraits being constructed from 5km of wool.

In the age of virtual experiences, our refreshingly tactile booth included a feedback wall that allowed delegates to contribute to an ever-changing infographic by extending wool across a board.
