Now in its 7th year, Creativity for Good is back for the PM Awards 2027.

Following last year’s successful initiative where we moved away from the single-entry competition format to launch a collaborative, industry-wide creative, we are doing something similar this coming year with a few small tweaks.

Last year, companies provided artwork for display at a bespoke gallery at the awards ceremony and thereafter online, to raise over £40,000 for the charity You Okay, Doc.

First and foremost, our chosen charity is Dementia Carers Count – dementiacarers.org.uk. This charity provides invaluable support for those that look after people living with dementia ensuring no carer feels overwhelmed or alone. The ask is simple: produce a piece of work that encapsulates the great work that dementia carers provide, the benefits to those being cared for, or the positive future outcome of dementia treatment.  This is about highlighting positivity through support, care, and treatment.  The format for the physical gallery must be an A3 printed piece (the PM Society will print the work from a digital format provided by the participating company) BUT, as we witnessed last year, the piece could involve multimedia linked from that static printed piece.  We had over 30% of all entries last year linking via a QR code on the printed installation to a short film or online experience.

How many?  There will be a limit to how many we can display so it is first come, first served.  We are limiting the number to 40 as that enables us to have sufficient space for all work to be displayed.

The cost?  We are aware that the economic climate, especially for agencies, is harder than it has ever been so we are reducing the entry cost to just £700.  Of that, £550 will go directly to the charity and £150 will be used to cover the cost of building the gallery itself, the online portal, and the cost of printing all the artwork.

When?  We will be formally opening the Creativity for Good 2026/2027 challenge in August with a detailed brief and more information from the charity.  More information will be available online on the PM Society website and on LinkedIn.  Artwork must be submitted by the middle of February 2027, so there should be plenty of time for agencies to plan for this project.

Is there a prize?  YES – this year, we will be awarding a Best of Gallery award with a trophy presented to the winning company at the awards, and there may be a highly commended and commended recognition.

What happens to the artwork afterwards?  The physical prints will be arranged to be delivered to the charity after the awards ceremony in March where they will auction off and/or display pieces at various locations, such as clinics and care homes. The digital formats will also be displayed online via the PM Society website.
