Selecting judges
In putting together judging panels, we aim to ensure that:
- Panels are appropriate for the focus of the awards and the specific categories being judged.
- Judges have significant experience and knowledge of one or more of the following, pharmaceutical industry, creative communications and advertising, PR, medical communications, patient communications, marketing, medical affairs and digital channels and technologies.
- The judging panel is diverse and inclusive.
- A broad range of companies are represented including pharmaceutical companies, and companies that work within the agency sector.

We run two awards programmes a year with judging panels of around 60 judges.
Judges cannot judge for more than two years consecutively.
You will receive acknowledgement of our nomination form and we will then get in touch with timings and next steps.
Our steering groups review all judge nominations and allocate judges according to experience, to each category. If for any reason, we cannot accept you as a judge or the panels have closed for the next awards programme, we will advise you accordingly.
Judging for the PM Awards runs from November to January
And for the PMi Awards from June to August.
Judges are thanked with a discounted ticket to the awards.
