The PM (Pharmaceutical Marketing) Society is delighted to announce a new programme of activity to promote marketing leadership in the industry.
The programme will centre around best practice and learning and will be led by Simon Grime, supported by Carwyn Jones.
Simon has led innovative & rapid marketing-led growth in several businesses, originally in the agency world in B2B and B2C and then in M3 EU, Fendix and Wilmington Healthcare.
Carwyn is a Director of the PM Society and Co-founder of LimeLight Health, with previous experience as CCO at OPEN Health.
The main aims of the programme are:
- to promote marketing leadership as progressive and part of enabling innovative business growth
- to encourage marketers in pharma who have great ideas and capability, to want to develop and elevate their leadership career
- to enable pharma marketers to stay current, challenge the norms, push boundaries, shape culture, change habits and behaviours
- and above all, to make an impact
The initial phase will focus on sharing best practice and learning from other industry sector marketing leaders.
These activities will take the form of live fireside chat interviews with 4 x industry leaders in an informal but valuable discussion around sharing game-changing examples of how they have led innovative change and impact in their respective careers.
Each interview will seek to share insights on some of the key marketing leadership topics, from what leadership means and how it contributes to innovative business growth, to what it looks like in the future, through strategy and planning, building customer-centred brands, global vs local, and much more. More details to follow on names and timings, but expect to see these across September, October, November and December.
Marketing Leadership Fellowships
Additionally, there will be an innovative new annual award of PM Society Marketing Leadership Fellowships, where a larger group of around 10 marketers will be selected to take part in a series of modules, resulting in the final award to 3 recognised as outstanding leaders – again more to follow on this in due course.
