Great session (have a listen for 45 mins) with Simon Lloyd hearing lessons in marketing leadership from other sectors, banking/fin (Axa and Aldermore), airlines (Virgin Atlantic) and technology (Nokia) – on subjects ranging from who owns the customer, to how to align the role of marketing with C-suite – and not letting technology adoption and short-term KPIs etc, get in the way of longer term goals for building engagement and trusted relationships .
Oh – and also advice on what moves to focus on for marketing leaders to become the CMO, by “walking the floors”.
