Gold: Snowflake Mountain For Alexion By 21GRAMS, part of Real Chemistry

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is often called “the snowflake disease” because it affects everyone differently. This fact inspired Snowflake Mountain, an entirely digital ski resort where sales reps were whisked away on a fun, yet academic, holiday. The guide, a nameless, bumbling and surprisingly well-versed ski pro, led the team through 10 training modules. The videos coupled complex medical data with laugh-out-loud puns, spit-take-inducing outfits and a super-cool moustache.

Snowflake Mountain was so effective that in the fall of 2021, we were asked to bring it back. This time, Snowflake Mountain transformed with an Oktoberfest theme — “Schneeflockenfest”, or “Snowflake Festival”.

Silver: Reach for the Stars For Gilead By OPEN Health

Gilead recently surpassed production of 100 million vials of AmBisome®. Our challenge was to mark this momentous occasion and motivate, commend and incentivise the team to continue to reach for the stars.

Our solution?

Launch the 100 millionth vial into space and stream the event across Zoom. A spacecraft was developed to carry a vial into the stratosphere. It was filmed from its initial design and build, through to lift-off and eventual safe return to earth.

Finalist: One Genmab Company Event 2022—Stronger Together For Genmab By Ashfield Event Experiences, part of The Creative Engagement Group

An incredible collaboration between Ashfield Event Experiences and Genmab — delivering a fully in-person internal communications company event to the Genmab global workforce.

1,169 people came to Madrid to reconnect post-pandemic, learn, be inspired, be immersed in the unique Genmab culture and come together as one global team. We created a high-touch, engaging event; togetherness and networking were critical. The entire organisation was engaged to create a showcase of talent, projects and visions using multiple learning tools. Experiences were designed that appealed to all senses — creating unique shared experiences, informing and educating.

Finalist: Summer of Love For Mayne Pharma By NAKEDHEALTH

The “Summer of Love” film was produced to showcase and excite Mayne Pharma employees about their innovative “It’s in our Nature” U.S. direct-to-consumer campaign for NEXTSTELLIS®.

As the first development in oral contraceptives for around 60 years, the film opens with this as its theme and showcases all the elements of the campaign — even with an inbuilt “pause for applause” section.

The film, made from live action and existing imagery, was produced within 10 days of the brief and on a very small budget.

Finalist: Moments That Matter For UCB By Real Chemistry

The brief was to bring to life UCB’s newly evolved corporate identity and purpose statement, “Inspired by patients, driven by science”, with a film featuring real patients. Our film’s slice-of-life storytelling approach interweaves the daily lives of three people from across the UK, finding raw authentic beauty in the small moments that matter most to them.

Vanessa, who lives with chronic psoriasis; Johnny, living with chronic epilepsy; and research scientist, Rachel.

Common threads emerge which weave together in the edit to create a touching portrait of humanity, resilience, and passion for improving life.
