PM Society celebrates its 4th year of the Creativity For Good initiative with record number of entries for this year’s competition.

The PM Society’s Creativity For Good initiative challenges healthcare agencies to pitch their ideas to a nominated charity to drive awareness or raise funds for said charity. For 2023/2024, the charity was The CATS Foundation, the only charity in the UK providing dedicated support to families affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease.

In the summer of 2023, fifteen agencies submitted ideas to the review panel, comprising of PM Society members, rare disease experts, and, of course, the charity.  Ultimately, the decision was down to Daniel Lewi and Patrícia Durão of Cure & Action for Tay-Sachs (CATS) Foundation.

And the winner is…

Verve and Four Health.  The Spot the Stop campaign – – has been a huge success for The CATS Foundation with over 5 million impressions received already since launch.  Verve and Four Health received their Creativity For Good trophy on March 15th at the PM Society Awards 2024.

Daniel Lewi said “We were given this fantastic opportunity through being selected as the charity chosen as part of the Creativity for Good campaign that the PM Society has been running for the last few years. We were fortunate to have an amazing campaign developed for us by Verve and Four Health called “Test for Tay-Sachs” which has a focus to speed up diagnosis (we will share more on the results of this campaign soon)!

I also want to say a big thank you to team Verve who devised the most amazing campaign”.

“We are delighted that this campaign was such a success for The CATS Foundation.  The competition was tough this year with many highly-creative and strong strategic entries.  The concept from Verve married with the media experience and savvy from Four Health was a winning combination and the results speak for themselves” said Dom Marchant, Creativity For Good lead.

Creativity For Good was set up to deliver creative campaigns for charities that need it the most, where a pro bono effort from an agency can often deliver life-changing results for individuals or groups that the charity supports. The fact that the agencies submit their own time and outputs for free AND compete for the chance to do so is testament to the spirit and attitude within the healthcare industry.
