The Executive Committee
The Executive determines the strategy and delivers on the plan for the Society, ensuring effective management of all PM Society activities.

The Committee
The Committee members provide input and ideas to all PM Society activities as well as becoming actively involved in the planning and running of key activities. There are 4 face to face Committee meetings per year.

Interest Groups
Interest groups deliver on the PM Society purpose in their functional area of expertise.

Advocates
This group consists of individuals who promote the Society and its activities within their own businesses. They do not attend face to face meetings but interact with the Society through email, social media and involvement with Interest Groups.

Caroline has worked in healthcare agencies for many years and runs Cuttsy+Cuttsy, a strategic healthcare communications agency that she set up in partnership with her brother in 2011. She won the Campaign magazine and the IPA’s Women of Tomorrow 2018 Award and the agency has won lots of awards for their culture including Platinum IPA CPD and Working Mums SME Top Employer award. She was the PM Society’s Patient Engagement Interest Group Lead for two years prior to becoming co-chair of the PM Society in February 2020.

Colin has been actively involved with the PM Society for over a decade, helping to establish the Digital Awards and leading our Digital Interest Group prior to becoming co-chair of the PM Society in February 2020. He is currently Senior Director, Digital Strategy at Astellas. Colin has spent more than 20 years in the industry gaining extensive experience in digital marketing, operational & project management, marketing and market research. Previous employers include GSK, Huumun, Boehringer Ingelheim, Kantar TNS and IQVIA. He is also a committed, if perennially disappointed, Tottenham Hotspur fan!

Rachel Farrow

Rachel was Co-Chair of the Society from March 2014 to February 2017 and has been on the Executive Committee of the Society since 2007. She is Chair of the Digital Awards, an event she launched in 2009. Rachel has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare and communications industries. She has managed several agencies, was Global Vice President of Medical Communications at Quintiles for 5 years and is currently a business consultant with her own company Route 73 Consulting. Her expertise spans communications, business management, digital media, patient programmes and medical education.

Carwyn was Co-Chair of the Society from March 2014 to February 2017 and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2009. He is also currently a director of the Society. Carwyn is a Senior Partner at OPEN Health where he has undertaking various roles in General Management, Strategy & Operations and Business Development. He also spent several years at Doctors.net.uk where he was Head of pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and Eli Lilly & GSK within various sales and marketing roles. He is also a committed Welsh rugby fan!

Market Access Lead

Craig is currently the Head of Marketing – Diabetes & Internal Medicine at Takeda. Craig has worked for Takeda, through the 2019 acquisition of Shire Pharmaceuticals, since July 2006 within a variety of sales, marketing and market access roles. Craig is currently responsible for several rare disease/orphan launch. Previously Craig was responsible for the Internal Medicine franchise which consisted of several rare disease launch brands and a series of established brands, whilst he was also formerly the National Manager for Market Access, responsible for leading the delivery of market access operational objectives. Craig has over 15 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry, also working for both Unomedical and Novartis during this time. Away from work, Craig is usually found renovating his house in South West France or supporting a resurgent Sheffield Wednesday!

Craig has been the PM Society Market Access Interest Group Lead since May 2016, a member of the Executive Committee since July 2016 and Chair of the PM Society itself from February 2017 to February 2020.

Jonathan Dancer

Jonathan Dancer is a healthcare strategy consultant who has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 30 years. He has an MBA from Warwick University Business School and is a Registered Pharmacist. He was formerly Marketing Director of Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, General Marketing Manager of Wellcome UK and Head of Marketing, Wellcome Danmark A/S. He also had roles heading up Teva in the UK and sales and Sales Management roles at Wellcome and Ciba-Geigy.

Jonathan established red kite consulting group in 1999 and Redbow Consulting Group in mid-2013.

Jonathan is a respected judge in many industry competitions, Training Lead for the PM Society and a visiting lecturer in Marketing at Kings College London. He specialises in consulting, primarily in strategy development, gaming, business simulation, marketing and organisational change.

With a 20-year background in healthcare, including experience in practice and as a pioneer of e-learning in eye care, Chris is the MD of emotive, a multi-award winning healthcare communications agency working with leading global and EMEA life sciences companies including pharmaceutical, medical device and rare disease specialists.

Having previously founded one of the largest providers of Continuing Education & Training for the optical profession, he sits on the boards of two healthcare-focused companies involved in training, publications and conferences. Passionate about engagement in science by young people, he also serves as a Governor at Beaconsfield High School in the UK.

Jenny joined us in January this year, with a focus on our members and partnerships to ensure the PM Society continues its role in providing education and supporting organisations and people in healthcare.  Jenny has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, regulatory affairs and medical aesthetics industries.  After a progressive sales and marketing career at Johnson & Johnson, she managed an implementation of training programmes for the optical profession and marketing programmes for a medical affairs consultancy.  Her expertise spans medical education, training, business development and strategic marketing.

Lorna joined the PM Society as Marketing Co-ordinator early in 2012 before being promoted to Project Manager in 2015. 2018 saw her take over the reins as Awards Manager responsible for all aspects of planning for both the PM Society Awards and Digital Awards.

In the industry since 2000, Lorna was previously events, accounts and office manager at event specialists Genesis Adoration and before that she worked at American Express Gold and Platinum Card Travel and Hogg Robinson. Her time outside work is taken up with her two young daughters.

Alex joined the team in September 2018 and has been tasked with growing the PM Society’s social media network, promoting and developing the PM Society’s training programme, assisting with the awards, managing the Digital Interest Group and running educational events.

Alex’s background is in event management and has worked in Las Vegas organising a number of events for her clients and also award ceremonies for William Reed.

Outside of work, Alex can be found somewhere on the South Downs walking her dog, in the gym or out with friends.

Fay joined the Society in 2008 and is responsible for the Society’s financial management, budgeting and reporting.

Fay started her career at Barclays Bank, followed by a long stint at Kuoni Travel. She has also worked in an agency, dealing with Pharma clients, and an accountancy practice.

Outside of work Fay can be found ferrying her teenage children to hockey and equestrian events.
