Course description
This CELforPharma course will teach you the key strategic decisions and critical success factors for a successful commercial launch, as well as equip you with a detailed cross-functional roadmap for effective implementation.

This 2-day course will cover:
- How to select one of 4 launch types that fits your company/brand’s profile.
- The market and stakeholder insights that are crucial for defining the launch strategy.
- How to crystallize a launch strategy based on segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
- How to develop a roadmap with timelines, milestones and best practice requirements to prepare a successful launch across all functions.
- How to anticipate organisational changes.
Who is the course for?
This course is a must-attend for all members of any cross-functional launch team that needs to launch a brand in the coming 1-3 years. In particular, all executives responsible for building, executing and measuring a launch plan.
Format
This course is delivered face-to-face, either in person or online, covering eight modules over two days. Each module takes 1 to 2.5 hours and includes a mix of presentations and practical exercises.

The Pharma Forecasting Course
Course description
This CELforPharma course will teach you the key principles and techniques that have proven to work effectively (evidence-based) to forecast the sales of innovative pharmaceuticals, taking into consideration typical pharma challenges such as market access, line of therapy, etc.
What will be covered?
This 2-day course will cover:
- The 6 proven principles for producing the most accurate forecasts.
- When and how to use epi-based vs. sales-based forecasts.
- The most useful, evidence-based forecasting techniques for pharmaceuticals.
- How to build Market Access correctly into your forecasts.
- The advantages and disadvantages of different data sources.
- How to deal with unique-to-pharma issues like lines of therapy, co-prescription, etc

This course is a must-attend for forecasters who want to build more evidence based approaches into their forecasts, as well for brand managers who want to understand how to link forecasts to their real-world concerns (like the competitiveness of their product profile, promotional spend, speed to market etc.)

Strategic KOL Planning & Engagement
Course description
This CELforPharma course will teach you how to pro-actively identify the most influential KOL profiles for each product lifecycle stage, and how to plan your engagement activities so that KOLs optimally contribute to the strategic goals set in the Medical/Brand Plan.
What will be covered?
This 1-day course will cover:
- The different types of KOLs and how they can add value at each product lifecycle stage.
- A process to pro-actively plan your KOL network and the activities with strategic impact.
- Criteria and mapping tools to precisely profile, identify and prioritise those KOLs that your products need most at each stage of their lifecycle.
- To understand the needs of your KOLs and how to use these insights to engage them.
- To communicate the value of your KOL plan internally and build win-win collaborations
Who is the course for?
This course is a must-attend for anyone in a Medical Affairs function where success is largely determined by interactions with KOLs, typically: MSLs and Medical Advisors who start to work in a new therapeutic area.
But also experienced MA employees working with a KOL list/plan that has not (yet) been developed with a strategic design process starting from the Medical/Brand Plan, will greatly benefit from this course.
