SUMMARY:Managing Pressure and Building Resilience
DESCRIPTION:About the course\nThese two sessions\, which will be delivered via Zoom on consecutive days\, are rooted in the science of how the body and brain react to pressure and stress and offer a practical and non-fluffy guide to maintaining and building your resilience.  It’s a relevant subject for most people in business today but the need for support in this area has increased given how COVID-19 and working from home is affecting people’s focus and resilience. \nThe contents of each session are as follows:- \nSession 1 (2:15 hours)\nThursday 21st January 10:00 am – 12:15 pm \n\nHow the body and brain respond to pressure and the effect of the stress reaction. How the brain’s survival mechanism produces ‘lower order’ emotional reactions that can be unhelpful in the workplace. The balance between good v unhelpful stress.\nReframing your thinking. Understanding the ‘thinking traps’ we sometimes fall into and how you can step back\, strip out the emotion and re-assess and handle pressurised challenges. A group exercise where delegates analyse a previous situation.\n\nSession 2 (1:45 hours)\nFriday 22nd January 10:00 am – 11:45 am \n\nThe science behind\, and benefits of mindfulness and breathing techniques\, including scientific evidence of how they impact the brain and the stress reaction.  A review of the apps and other tools available.\nKeeping your focus and limiting distraction. Why technology makes us butterfly between tasks and keeps us in a state of ‘continuous partial attention’.  Practical ideas on how you can change the way you work to stay focused and be more productive.\nExercise\, relaxation\, sleep and diet. How other aspects of your lifestyle impact the way the body responds to pressure and can help build resilience.\n\nAbout the trainer\nPaul Phillips spent many (stress-filled) years working in agencies including Ogilvy\, FCB San Francisco and most recently 14 years at VCCP.  During his last 8 years at VCCP\, he founded and ran the specialist healthcare agency VCCP Health\, where he first got interested in mental health.

SUMMARY:Zoom Training: Client Retention for Agency Account Managers
DESCRIPTION:Introduction\nIn these current changeable and uncertain times\, it’s more important than ever to ensure the agency is delivering the highest level of value\, nurturing client relationships and increasing existing client retention.\nThis takes a pro-active approach from the Account Management team who are the ambassadors for the agency and the ones managing the relationships on a day to day basis.\nWe are delighted to offer this virtual training programme through ZOOM\, delivered in 3 convenient 2-hour modules over one week. \nWho will benefit?\nThe programme is designed for client-facing staff managing the day to day interactions with clients and responsible for account retention. SUMMARY:Zoom Training: Managing Pressure and Building Resilience
\nThe contents of each session are as follows:- \nSession 1 (2 hours)\nThursday 15th October 10:00 am – 12:00 pm \n\nHow the body and brain respond to pressure and the effect of the stress reaction. A group exercise where delegates analyse a previous situation.\n\nSession 2 (1 hour 30 mins)\nFriday 16th October 10:00 am – 11:30 am \n\nThe science behind\, and benefits of mindfulness and breathing techniques\, including scientific evidence of how they impact the brain and the stress reaction.

SUMMARY:Webinar: Rare access\, the varying pace of change
DESCRIPTION:In the Healthcare Industry\, we often view the access challenge as incredibly difficult in order for the UK to reimburse and recommend new\, innovative therapies. But how do we really perform in the most innovative Cell and Gene therapies? How does UK Pharma feel about the challenge? Does the current pace of change correlate with industry perception? \nThis free webinar will allow UK pharma market access colleagues to understand how the UK authorities are performing compared to the rest of Europe and discuss the confidence that their colleagues have in the UK reimbursement systems to ensure people with rare diseases don’t get left behind. \nPlease note\, If you do not already have a PM Society account\, you will need to create a free account in order to register for this event\, please click here. If you already have a username and password\, you do not need to create a free account. Please contact Helen if you need any assistance. \nOnce you have registered for a ticket to this free event you will receive an email with details on how to join the Zoom webinar nearer to the event date. \nTickets for this event are free of charge\, however\, if you would like to make a small donation to the PM Society’s charity\, PAPYRUS\, this would be gratefully received. To read more about PAPYRUS\, the work they do and to make a donation\, please visit our charity page.
