Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is one of the great health challenges of our time. By 2030, it is predicted to become the world’s third biggest killer. We set out to understand the extent of the psychological and social impacts of COPD for people living with the disease. One patient said: ‘When you live with COPD the world around you shrinks’ this sparked a creative idea for our team. We shrank our actress, isolating her from life drawing the viewer into the world of COPD, ending by showing how a few small steps can change a life.

Silver: The Stalker

Insulin is often seen as a sinister threat by diabetic patients.


For those currently managing their condition with OAD pills, the prospect of a lifetime of injections is a scary thing . And this fear is often compounded by doctors, who use insulin injections as a threat for not complying with diet or exercise regimes.


Designed to educate doctors about this tendency, this film shows how the insulin isn’t quite the horror it’s made out to be.

Bronze: Below the Surface

The Below the Surface film campaign by Novo Nordisk aims to raise awareness of the varying presentation and debilitating impact of low blood sugar, or hypoglycaemia, in order to educate people with diabetes, the general public and healthcare professionals about the importance of controlling blood-sugar levels to reduce the risk of hypoglycaemia. Each film is brought to life with a mixture of uniquely impactful and striking graphics and 3D audio effects to emphasise what hypoglycaemia might look, sound and feel like.

For: The Fertility Partnership

The Fertility Partnership asked us to help more women consider becoming an egg donor. The result was the Share Something Amazing campaign. Collaborating with artist Stuart Semple, we created giant balloon installations across six nationwide cities to start debate and dialogue about egg donation. Valuable limited-edition balloons were handed out to women, who were invited to donate their gift to a stranger, turning the balloon into a metaphor for egg donation and allowing them to experience what it’s like to share something precious.
