In this archived PM Society Digital Breakfast (original broadcast date: 31 October 2013) Heather Simmonds, director of the PMCPA responds to live questions about the ABPI Code of Practice and also describes the processes for informal questions to the PMCPA.
Simmonds also called for companies to put forward ideas on how the Code may be better communicated: “While there is a responsibility on companies and organisations that work with them to know the guidance, there is a huge responsibility on us to communicate better about the Code and we would welcome ideas on how we might do this.”
The free Digital Breakfasts hosted by the PM Society are broadcast monthly and cover a range of topics. Just a year on from launch, registrations this month hit 1000 and Carwyn Jones who leads the PM Society Digital Interest Group is delighted: “We do very little to promote these free Digital Breakfasts, so this significant and regularly engaged audience is a true measure of the value that pharma and associated companies place on this free educational resource from the PM Society. We’ve even heard of some businesses gathering people in a room to discuss and debate during the live events and are keen to receive feedback, including on ideas for future events.”
